Guiding Principles

Barnabys Day NurseryAs a family owned Day Nursery and Pre-school, we know how important it is to parents to have the reassurance that they have made the right decision for their child.
Here at Barnaby’s we pride ourselves in providing a stimulating and caring indoor and outdoor environment for children to grow and develop, whilst having fun.
With our setting in 30 acres of pasture, children’s vegetable garden and our private woodland our emphasis is on the outdoors and our natural surroundings.
We believe that good dietary habits and an appreciation of healthy food starts from and early age. Our approach to food is simple, all meals are freshly prepared and home made in the nursery each day using the best quality ingredients. In recognition of this approach we hold a Kirklees Gold award for our food.
We hold 5 stars Kirklees health and hygiene award.
